Yeah just read up on fuel injector cleaner....pretty much BS.....however i remember using Lucas upper cylinder lubricant w/ fuel injector cleaner and did notice the valve train quiet down quite a bit.

My girlfriends evo had a JE piston melt on her, or corrode i guess...I was told her meth was puddling on her 4th piston somehow, and slowly but surely caused a nice size hole in the piston that was making the car smoke, and burning tons of oil. Valve seals were replaced, Still nothing..After it burned enough oil and she didnt add more in time, It caused some rod bearing issues, which scarred the crank too. The car is being rebuilt at the moment, Should be completed by monday or tuesday of this week.

wierd that it was on the intake side of the piston. Is this where the builder had left the ring end gap?

Injectors good, pretty much what happened was Mugen turned up the boost little to high....lol
