If you look back...thru all of the QM threads. I was told it would be released 1 month from beginning of February lol...

I guess you just need to double time and increment the unit.

1 month * 2 = 2months (increment unit) = 2 years. I suspect this cluth will be done February of 2012.

I talked with Jeff over at QM a few days ago and he said that the new clutch is still being tested and at least a month out.

isn't the new clutch design due out just incoporating what the guy and his machine shop did with regards to some skimming so you could do this mod yourself and get the extra mileage that was the issue with these clucth kits right?

There are others out there that could better answer this as i know someone out there has 1 doing some testing but from what i re-call the assembly is indeed different but it does incorporate the mod that was done to the disc hubs.

It uses a single hub instead of 2 hubs to prevent stripping of the input shaft and to alleviate a lot of noise. It is similar in design to to the Tilton carbon and HKS twin plate clutch.

Thanks much for the info!

If only i had more time and money on hand i'd maybe wait for it to come out after all the testing is done but my Evo and the dragstrip have been missing each other too much

Might be better to google first so that this thread about the revised QM TWIN does not get clogged up.

http://www.racingclutches.com/

You can speak to Jeff and see if they have an application for your needs

Did you do the disc mod? If not, you should. Have you taken the clutch out and looked at it yet?
