Ummmm NO you can absolutely put a DV on backwards. Seen it happen quite a few times actually

There are 2 ports on a recirculating DV so it is very easy to put the side port to the UICP and bottom to the intake.

You will get some bucking and surging as described

I've loosened up the bov/dv and its cool now. It does it occasionally but not like how it use to.

im having the same problem too i just adjusted it and it perfect now glad i saw this thread

My bov isn't adjustable n the spring is soft. What can make my car sputter cruising in fifth then?

The 9 bov /dv is not adjustable.

I think people need to stop recommending the ix bov as the best option for lower boost setups if this is the case

I have a forge bov. It's like the car starts getting lean when its at positive vaccum or hitting boost when I'm cruising at 70
