Slight exhaust/turbo problem

I have an maperformance O2 dump on my car and a stock turbo. Car has 75k miles on it. When at idle I can hear exhaust coming out of the O2 dump which at that rpms shouldn't have anything coming out of the dump. This could be cuz I don't have a proper seal with the o2 housing and the turbo right? Or could this be cuz my waste gate flap is warped or something like that im thinking. If that was the case could that make my car have additional turbo lag since some of the boost would be leaking out of the flap? I ask this cuz my car feels a little slugish to what i remember but i can't tell if its all in my head or not. Anybody have any experience with this or any ideas?? Thanks for whatever you can give me

how long has it been installed for or did you just install it? if you just installed it did you use a gasket for the houseing because if you did your getting an exhaust leak because their isent supposed to have a gasket installed..

Or the gasket that should be installed has a center wall dividing the wastegate from the turbine exit

the stock gasket is missing the center divider and also check the tension on WGA

i had this problem too. MAP sends you a special gasket so you wont have a leak.

i installed it awhile ago with the gasket that came with it which has a divider in the middle. How do you check the tension on the WGA?

Make sure your wastegate actuator is connected to the flapper arm. Could also be from a blown gasket. Do you see any discoloration from where the turbo is mated to the o2 housing?

i have this same problem too and i just put the good gasket it. it is shooting exhaust out of the dump at idle like crazy! my car sounds like a friggen dragster. the only thing it could be is the wastegate is broken or the actuator is stuck and is leaving it wide open.
help me!!!

not very good...i think its something with my turbo because i have a bbk full thats all messed up so i think the wastegate isnt staying shut. when i put pressure on it, it stays closed but as soon as i let go it opens it back up.

tighten down the wastegate arm a little bit by disconecting from flapper then useing the threded arm adjust it so it's a little shorter it will take a bit of force to reconnect to the flapper
