What boost are you supposed to be hitting, and what is it creeping to?

I had boost creep issues on the stock turbo.

My solution was to just run a min of 26#'s

They all do on 2.0Ls, its a combination of an extremely efficient turbo and low backpressure in the turbine housing because of the dump. A "ported" Black as in the port job that FP does or someone ported to keep it from creeping?

Here is an Evo 8 with the stock turbo and no dump vs an FP Black and a dump. 28psi out the top, this car has meth injection on it so it was something we could leave as is for the time being. The lowest it would run was 26.7psi so we are going to add a 3 port to control boost down low and keep the boost low up top.

Ultimately the turbo needs to be ported to prevent creep, but as I said, on this car its less of an issue.

Other than porting the turbo, is there any possible solutions?

Not really, the turbo needs ported or you need a bigger motor

I say remove the hotside & open up the w/g ports. I have relieved 2 cars of boost creep by opening up the w/g port.

I have seen hotsides where the 2 ports are rather small.

gets some dykem, scribe where the puck lives. leave ~2mm of overlap.

sometimes the splitter is rather fat, narrow that up too.

just because you can lift the flapper all the way up, doesnt mean that thats going to happen when the w/g is hooked up.

also verify that the flapper is restricted by the o2 housing = hitting somewhere = preventing it to open.

I have run as low as 14psi with my black = my w/g is flowing some air not to drive the turbine wheel.

Great idea! I wish you had a photo or 2 (visual aide ) to better explain what you have done.

I agree that you are going to have to pull the turbine housing off and port it. If you decide to yank it off, then PM me and I can walk you through the porting of the bypass ports and inlet area of the hsg.
