Why is my o2 dump causing boost creep?
I check my FP black, DBB, ported by FP and they do not port the bypass ports. If these ports get ported this will help the boost creep. I saw a thread like this for a guy that had an FP red I think.
I have a same issue with my with my toxifab O2dump. I have a built 2.0l, dbb( unported)fpblack and all the little goods. I was unable to run 30-32psi as it would creep to 34 and cause knock also I'm using a #18 wg and controlled by a 3port. This was late last year.
I (over the winter) have sent my turbine houring, O2dump, exhaust mani, and other stuff to Curt Brown for porting. I'm hoping this solves my problem. I'll keep you posted.

Porting the housing would seem to make the creep worse if the wastegate ports are not opened up. If it is easier for exhaust to go through the turbine wheel and housing then through the wastegate you will have creep. A stock housing with just ported wastegate passages would have highest back pressure through the turbine wheel and housing and least through wastegate ports.
I think it is a combination of the 25 PSI wastegate just spiking and the extremely cold weather. I was doing rollons from lower RPMS and set the boost to as low as it could go I would still spike to 27PSI on my RED and then it would fall to 25 PSI, it's still extremely fast at 18 Degrees F.
with this particular car it was because he was not running enough boost down low so the wastegate took over. no taper occurred. once i added boost down low it never creeped again.
the other tuner had no boost downlow, so the car just went up and up and up.

I had to set my AEM Tru Boost to as low as it could go. Play with the spiked and then it was fine but I was hitting way over 30 PSI when the temps dropped.
