Who here on EvolutionM has the most knowledge about the ACD/AYC system?

Who here on EvolutionM is the doctor/guru regarding ACD/AYC? I have a couple of questions...

What are the specs of the ACD Oil pressure sensor?
Does it have a NTC or PTC style graph?
Who is the manufacturer of the sensor?
What resistance level is the sensor (strain gauges) supposed to have in static environment?
When is the sensor "triggered" to send a signal. In other words which factors are needed to activate the sensor?

Is there anyone here who can give me (partial) answers on these questions or does know someone who might?

I've searched a lot but can't find anything regarding these issues...

That MAY or may NOT answer some of your questions. I dont know if the article will cover your issue, or if your search brought this thread up. Good read either way.

I already read it... And posted in it without any reaction...

Well the problem is I have code 46 popping up:

As you can see, this is triggered by an output voltage over 2V so that means that the operating range of this sensor would be something like this:

This is a very unusual combination. Such a wide range with such a small resolution. Of course this is all speculated but this would explain why it is so difficult to find this sensor. Does anyone know what maximum pressures occur in this system? On extreme conditions...

I have measured the earth cable, result: 0.7 Ohm so it seems that there is no broken wire. I have also measured the blue, red and green resistances and the result were something in the range of 2.4kΩ / 2.2kΩ / 4.4 kΩ. I don't know if i can expect this because i don't have anything to compare this with.

Does anyone has experience with this? How can I properly measure my sensor of it is working ok?

I think I'm going to log the peak voltage on the signal cable with my Fluke-88, after this I'll take my brothers Evo and make the same run and log that one also and than compare them to each other...

Any help is welcome!

Maybe it's just me but I thought that I would find a lot of people on the US forum that could help me out, I'm a little bit disappointed though. But no worries maybe I'm just judging too soon... Please help me out and prove me wrong!

I have don some work into this, and would like to ask you from where did you get "sensor output graph" ?
I am on vacation this week and cant come up whit my results before I am back at home.
There is a "docktor" in UK that have found a compatebel sensor so be patient.
What I did was to make my one test bench, providing preshure to the sensor and meshure at the output pin was then easy.

I made this graph myself but I wrote that is was speculated and in my opinion not realistic. But someone told me it was a linear graph and he measured 1.1V at 9-11 bar. So I just divided 1/10=0.1V per 10 bar and the operating range speculated from 1V - 2V. That's how i came to this graph. But it seems very unrealistic since the ultra fine resolution(0.1) and super wide range (100 bar). Operating range is something like 0 - 20 bar I think... Could u send me the data u collected from the tests?

Correct it is linear, and the 1.1V point is 1.0Mpa or 10bar

CT9A AYC/ACD Pressure Transducer Data.

y=0.62x+0.5

Where y=Volts and x=Mpa

Sorry for my late reply.
Be aware that this is meshured in a simpel setup.

BAR/VOLT
0/0,50 2,5/0,65 3/0,69 4/0,75 5/0,80 6/0,87 7/0,93 8/0,97 9/1,06 10/1,12
11/1,16 12/1,21

Plotting them in to a X-Y diagram shows that 20 bar should give us 1,7 volt out.
(0,62x2)+0,5 = 1,72
