this HKS GDpro twin is the solid hub version. I always go w/ solid hubs for lightest weight possible for fast shifting.

yes, we used an exedy triple on another evo here.

The tilton carbon twin holds just as much torque w/ one less disc to worry about.
So it was an obvious choice for me. Im not worried about streetability as i dont daily this car at all.

oh the wheels are Ray's/Volk Racing -TE37 +22 offset in 18"x9.5"

well, it won't do much for me at the drag strip... but the build is more about creativity w/ fabrication than anything so it was done. It will probably show me some benefits after im done dragging the car and move on to road racing w/ it on a different turbo setup.

Anyhoo... the swirl tank's function basically is to promote turbulence in the water/coolant flow in order to convince air bubbles to escape in a more efficient way up through the small pressure line to the catch tank/cap. Then of course to the overflow.
Part of this tank is sectioned off for the valve cover's 3 lines also (crank case pressure evac/breather

well, the "million dollar" clutch finally came in. Tilton Carbon/Carbon twin disc... yikes this is an expensive twin disc, but supposedly worth it. More importantly, it will hold the torque my HKS twin was not rated for.

I don't want to read through the whole thread again so i can't remember is this a DD car at all?? did you ever consider the Exedy Triple? I know the tilton is a very good race clutch, but from what i'm told, thats all its good for...

**EDIT: Nevermind read some post's above and my question was answered**

yeah, the evo is technically in street car trim, but no, it will not be daily driven. I have 2 other cars for that. C16 fuel, Carbon Twin rebuilds, and No A/C front faced turbo setup are primary reasons for that, LOL.
There is also a very high chance that the car will morf into a full track setup once the cage is in anyways.

i wish... i've been broke for a year funding this project. Would've been 10times worse w/out Huy's help though.
What started as a simple shortblock rebuild turned into this full on race build.

I wheeled n' dealed w/ Huy for this clutch... he's got my HKS GDpro twin disc in his daily driver now.

actually there's a perfectly useable Exedy HD twin at the shop sitting on one of the tables, lol. It just needs new discs. Floaters are fine.
