check engine light..????

Hey guys, 2 nights ago I was having some fun in the snow and the plug on my intake popped out.(the hole where the stock bov goes I have a turbo xs running vta) The car started to stall out so I got it home realized what happened and fixed it. The problem is now I have a check engine light, is this to be expected from the plug popping out? Do I just need to get the light cleared?? thanks guyss

Disconect the negative battery terminal for five or ten minutes and see if it clears the code.

Disconnect your battery for couple minutes. It should clear the code, unless there is something else wrong with your car.

Go to your local auto parts store and have them read and clear the code.
