Adding to the oil, sucking into the intake, and adding to the fuel tank achieve totally different outcomes....
-adding to the oil is meant to loosen and remove sludge. as it was said earlier, running and consistently changing with synthetic oil, there really is no need.
-pulling into the intake via a vacuum line cleans the cylinders of carbon buildup.
-adding to the fuel tank cleans injectors and cylinders.
my .02, i wouldn't feel good about doing this to a turbo car for the reasoning of possible detonation and extreme cylinder temperatures resulting from burning solvents.

One of the first things I dont on every used car I buy is 1 can of seafoam in the gas tank. I have never done the other methods.
I found that on High Mileage cars 100k+ it helps to smooth out the idle and general low throttle conditions.
I just put a can in the Evo tonight. The car does feel like it is starting to idle better, however I will wait a few weeks before I claim that seafoam is magic.
Also my brother ran some of this through is STI and had similar results.

I've used it for years too. My Evo has already seen two applications. Pour a third into the gas tank, a third into the oil, and suck a third through a vacuum line.
When sucking through the vacuum line let it take the last amount and then turn the engine off. Let set for about five minutes, then start and drive around slowly for about 15 minutes. Immediately change the oil. Don't boost until a new tank of gas. Works great!

which vacuum hose do you use to suck in the 1/3 of the bottle? BOV or brake booster?
also if we let the car sit after suck it through the vacuum doesn't it hydrolock the car? because I read somewhere that a guy got it hydrolock by turn off the engine and let it sit.
Do you put 1/3 to a full tank of gas or half?
