hey guys i have an evo 9 mr and am putting in a 35r and going for 500awhp i dont boost the hell out of my cars all the time i actually rarely get on them unless im racing just want to see how far or hard you should push the mr 6spd to and what problems people have had before?

 

They fail when they fail. There are guys who've been running 500+whp for a long time on their 6spd's without a single problem, then there are guys who have been pushing less than 400whp that have had breakages. It'll depend on how you drive, how nice you are when shifting, and how well your maintenance is.

 

im pretty gentle on that tranny anyway just want to have it a little faster
