Turbo shaft play

I'm in the process of putting an intake and O2 housing on my IX.
I was checking the turbo for shaft play since both wheels are exposed. There is no axial movement, but I can detect a bit of radial movement. I haven't put a dial indicator on yet but it seems minimal.
Is that normal? 40K on the turbo.

Thanks
Shoe

A little bit of play is normal as when the oil reaches the bearing it gets stabilized.
