Definitive EVO8 vs EVO9 Turbo Specs

I'll first mention that I've searched, read the sticky, and done a fair bit of research. The reason I'm here is because I'm piecing a kit together for a different car. I've seen the EVO8 and EVO9 turbo used on a few DIY setups and the results have always been favorable, especially on smaller engines. They are very efficient turbos, but are turbine limited.

With the thread stickied above being a bit dated, I'm hoping someone will be willing to share a what might be considered common knowledge at this point. I'm trying to decide if the $200-300 difference in price is enough for me to care. As much as personal opinions and experience matters, I'm really looking for raw technical data.

Specs I'm looking for:

Turbine Wheel Measurement(s) (Inducer and Exducer)
Compressor Wheel Measurement(s) (Inducer and Exducer)
Turbine Housing Measurements/Specs
Compressor Housing Measurement/Specs
Compressor Flow Map
Relevant technical commentary(Material choice, design notes, ect)

Thanks in advanced for your help

the magnesium part only applies to certain models like the jdm spec evo 9 gt

theres no reason not to use a evo 9 turbo unless you already have a evo 8 lying around

Thanks for that information. It is helpful.

I'm still very interested in raw technical information though.
