So its time to finally purchase my turbo kit, I have an EVO9 with Buschur racing spec 2.0 pistons with eagle rods and a BR BFIC. Fuel system isnt a problem i have some 1600cc's with a Buschur racing dual pumper. I was wondering how well would a 40r be on a 2 liter set up. Will the spool suck so bad that it will barely be streetable? Its not really a DD but i will be driving it around on the streets here and there. Let me know someone if they have experience or opinions and how much do you guys think i will be able to push with those rods and pistons. Thanks in advance for any of your help

 

i dont know the answer to your question, but curious if u plan for a drag or roadrace setup? Roadrace setup i would say its too much turbo

 

Drag set up. My goals are 7-800

 

the 40R might be a little too laggy for you on the 2.0. I'd probably suggest looking into the 6262, HTA86, or 6765

 

you will need to rev it and i wouldnt rev it that high with eagle rods or any other "cheap" h beam.
