Help with gasket

Hello

I keep blowing out my turbine inlet gasket for some reason. This is the second time this has happened its really annoying! The studs and bolts that go from turbo to the exhaust manifold keep backing out causeing the gasket to go. Does anyone else have this problem or ideas to keep this from happening?? I have running FP red with the stock exhaust manifold but it is ported and jet coated. Thanks for your help.

Are you talking about the gasket between the manifold and turbo?

I'd say get them REALLY tight, or try some safety wire. Safety wire seems to fix this problem for everyone else.

are you running oem studs/ washers/ nuts?? i feel like the aftermarket fasteners are way more prone to pop out..

and like the gentleman above said- safety wire is the way to go. just a big pain in the ***.
my boy works in the aviation industry adn they do this to every important bolt

Yes the gasket between the manifold and the top of the turbo. the studs i am useing are a little bit shorter then the stock ones. i couldnt get the stock studs out of the stock turbo. I guess the safety wire is the best bet at this point in the game.

Are you torquing it to spec and in a cross pattern?
Are the surfaces warped?
Are you using a stock gasket?

I dont think they are warped. They dont look to be. The gaskets that i am using i orderded from forcedperformance. http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...Lancer-TurboHW
I looked up the torque specs but i personally didnt torque them down one of my friends did unless the messed it up but this isnt the first time it has happened.
Would locktite do anything for me here or withstand the heat? Thanks

If there is some high temp thread locker throw it on.
When you torque down;
Upper left, bottom right, upper right, lower left.
Hopefully that helps.
