Power makes awsome ball bearing turbos. I had a 1818f in my WRX wagon and I loved it. A little on the laggy side but very nice. They also make a twin scroll for the New age JDM STI so I'm sure they can make a monster 16G based BB turbo that is twin scroll.

I really don't want to do a new mainfold and ext. wastegate. Just want a good BB turbo upgrade. Does anyone have anything in the works.

If Power came out with one I would buy it in a hart beat.

Eric

No, people just don't play with reverse spinning turbos.

Buschur Racing is working on a new manifold to accomodate "standard scroll" bolt-on turbos.

Buschur is making a nice cast piece. The compnay i deal with for my turbo setups is making SS304 tubular for me and my customers. We are happy with their work. We are working on a direct replacement and for upgraded turbos complete with new O2 housings and incorporated downpipe.
But some like cast for the street. To be completely honest they are very durable and second to none in comparison to any tig welded tubular manifold. And buschur makes good stuff. But alot of people like the look and feel of a tubular. It is up to the owner which direction he wants to go.

Nice are they incorporating any flow charts on their site? I wonder what kind of numbers were looking at with that

We like what Turbochargers.com is doing but the current bolt on turbo they have for the EVO doesn't work well. We have already tested it. Hopefully they will come up with another compressor wheel soon and have something to offer.

We are going to offering a bolt t3/t4 turbo kits for the EVO 8. It will be completed and ready to sell to the public within a couple weeks. We have been building turbo kits for DSM's for a while and our SS equal length manifolds work out really well.

The equal length runners help with spool up and the overall powerband. We also have never had one crack so far because we use 8 gauge SS and expansion slots.

We are going to have 3 different stages450-680hp special thing is that each stage will have the option of going with dual ball bearings.

The dual ball bearing option will be great for those who want to run a big turbo, but don't want to deal with the lag.

We aren't cutting any corners with this kit. You will be getting nothing, but the best from this set up.

T3/T4 Full Garrett Turbo
38mm Tial Exeternal wastegate w/SS Dump tube
SS Equal length manifold
3" SS 02 housing
SS radiator hose
Braided SS oil lines
SS bolts, washers, nuts
etc, etc, etc

Basically everything you will need to bolt it right on like the factory unit.

Here is a pic of out DSM kit. Our EVO 8 kit will be very similar is design.

The AMS kit will be bolt on. It will come with everything needed and no custom fabrication or modifications will be needed.

The nice thing about our kit is that it will bolt-on without modifications. It will also include all the parts listed at a very reasonable price.

We won't be cutting any corners by using internal wastegates or Mitsubishi hybrid turbos. We will only be using true Garrett turbos.
