I will agree with Aaron/John bradley. The 1400HD Wisecos are GREAT pistons. I had a set and sold them to Fathouse and he is now running them in his car. Due to my car crank walking i purchased a new engine from AMS with there custom spec pistons from Ross and they have been PERFECT! Been running 700+WHP on them for awhile with many miles of hard street racing/runs on them with absolutely no issues.

This is a common question.

The answer is no. All JE Pistons are manufactured from 2618 alloy. However, JE also offers their SRP Professional line that is made from 4032 alloy with a higher silicon content. These are perfect for the 500whp range and will generally be quieter on the street at startup since less initial clearance is required. They also include skirt coating. If you're going to run E85 or race gas, JE offers 10.0:1 piston off-the-shelf...

Both Buschur and AMS are using JE. In fact, AMS uses only JE now after switching all their race programs over this year.

Wow, this thread came back from the dead...

Here is more information on the asymmetrical parts:

The 2.3L stroker pistons only weigh 268 grams and uses a short 2.250" wrist pin for further weight savings. Good stuff.

Wiseco 1400HD or Manley. Wiseco is our first choice.
