i have a single walbro 255 and i wanted to know how far that can take me powerwise...is it good to 500 at the wheels? wondering when its necessary for a double pump.

 

with right tuner on a dynojet i would say 500. on a modified walbro on dynojet i have seen 620whp.

 

what are people doing when a single walbro isnt enough? is a double pump the most effective option? is there a single pump option that flows enough for 1200cc, race gas and 30ish psi?

 

I maded 514whp on a mustang dyno with a single walboro an 1000cc's. What fuel do you plan on running? as long as its not E85 I would say your fine.

 

just race gas but was thinking 1200cc's...my goal is 500 or so and if 1000cc's work for you maybe ill go that route. whats your setup if you dont mind me asking? and what psi?

 

im at 500 with single walbro, 1000cc FP black on pump gas

im not maxing out injectors either

 

My turbo is similar to a 6262, pump gas and 50/50 alky water mix. We pushed it to 37psi running 100% duty cycle on a 12.1 AFR tune. There a few things I wanna change to get some more power but thats down the road after a double pumper.

 

ps 514 on a mustang dyno should be about 600whp on a Dyno jet.
