Not to be a pain, but is there anyway to find out when you will be getting more?

Kind of in the middle of a build and don't wanna use a twin

At what HP level would you recommend going from a from a twin disk to aTriple disc? I had the Exedy Triple Carbon (Up from a Twin), but it was overkill (Case of more money then brains I guess) so I went back to a twin. I always wondered when a triple is what your car needs, and not what your brain wants. Just curious, thanks in advance.

Good question. I think most people dont understand that clutches are rated by torque not hp

Ok, I thought if 2 was good, 3 was better. So at what "Torque rating" are the triples indicated? Is it also possible to come up with a "Ballpark" AWHP rating range you would like to be in with the Torque indicated to jump from a double to a triple disc setup?

I know it's not an exact science, because from which dyno #'s are you going to use, ones that read high? or the true dyno numbers like on a Dynodynamics dyno.

I just don't want these guys getting parts because they can afford it, and they think they need to get it because the more is better mentality like I had. Sooner or later, it is money ill spent in my opinion, and overkill to get something they don't need. I am getting back into an evo soon, so this question is for me also I guess.

At what HP/TQ range is a triple disc clutch indicated. 500-600AWHP? or torque numbers.

I know it has to do with the clamping force as well, but am not sure about this, nor am I familiar on Push Type, or Pull type clutches. I will get all the right parts this time, and am just curious on this.

I rebuilt my exedy twin for 500 once, which included resurfacing the flywheel and new disce. Capitol Clutch in Indy does it. They do clutches on NASCAR and INDYCARS, so they do it right. I was totally happy with my clutch. (Exedy triple was junk in my opinion, but if you look at my older posts, it was flawed from the factory). Thanks to anyone who can help with this question for me (us).

I think alot of it matter what the car is used for. If you drag the car a lot especially with a good tire and suspension setup your naturally gonna be harder on the clutch vs just doing a 2nd to 3rd pull on the on ramp.

I currently know of a car with a 6765 on e85 that is making 686whp and 491wtq on a mustang dyno that is using a twin hd.
