What Size Fuel Injectors?

I am switching to E85 in a couple of weeks and want to know what size injectors to get? I plan on staying with the stock 8 turbo for a while, but if I do decide to switch the turbo, I will most likely get a stock replacement like the BBK Full.

Other future mods will include ported intake mani with 65mm TB (Prob MIL.Spec), ported exhaust mani, O2 dump (prob MAP's).

I don't plan on going too much above the 400whp range on the stock 8 turbo (if I can accomplish that). Any help would be appreciated.

I would get 1200-1250's if I was gonna run E-85 on either the stock turbo, or a medium-sized stock replacement turbo like the BBK-Full. If you should decide later to go to a bit larger turbo, such as the Red, the Black, or the upcoming BBK-B, then you might want to go to larger nozzles such as 1450's. It all depends on the compressor flow rating of turbo you finally decide on.

ur best bet would be to check the dyno results forum. there's plenty of bbk and e85 dyno charts and mod lists in there to give u an idea of what u should use. off the top of my head...and not speaking from experience, just from forum literature...ur looking at 1000cc minimum. most would go with 1200-1600cc just to have breathing room for a safe idc and for future power increases. if ur certain on bbk as ur future turbo upgrade, call cbrd and ask what injectors to use w/ e85...

I have the FIC 1450s and they are great on the stock ECU. Idle is great and transition in and out of boost is flawless. I would get 1450s. The 1200 seem to be limited for most larger turbos and the 1600s are a pain to tune on stock ECU. The 1450s are the middle man and perfect!

Aaron from ER just sold me the new FIC high impedance 1100 injectors. From what I believe he told me, they would be good for 500whp on a single pump or 550-570 on two pumps. Supposed to be the shiz for E85.

FIC 850's for the stock 8 turbo. Sell them and upgrade to FIC 1250's when you upgrade the turbo. Do it the right way. Who are you going to tune your car for e-85?

If you plan to stay at 4-450 i would go with Injector dynamics 1000's. they will support that at normal fuel pressure. If you go with something like the red or black they could still work if you have a fuel system that can support high fuel pressure but at that point i would go with the ID2000's. Which is what i have. The 1000's will idle like a 600cc injector. Hopefully in the next 2 months i will be finishing my build and be able to see how the id2000's idle. The ID's are a little more money but they are a amazing injector. They are matched the same way as F1 injectors.

The new FIC HI 1100's will be enough for a stock 8 turbo and BBK full on e85.

Never buy injectors twice is what I always tell people, you just end up spending more money.
