It fits the stock fans so there is no need to worry about. It fits like a stock set up.

You don't need any internal work to support 500hp. I would suggest head studs as it will be a lot safer, but the 4G63 is a very stout motor.

What's up Darryl, Gil here. I agree with you, there is no way in hell the fans are fitting with that set-up, no way! I hope this is not a sign of turbo kit fitment issues . Tell us RNR, is this really how the manifold fits?

Like I have said before many times. The manifold has been moved closer to the block to fit the stock fan. There are no fitment issues with the turbo kit.

if you are really that concerned and u feel like u can't have stock fans in there, im sure u can afford to spend a few billz on some slim fans if you just spent that much on a turbo kit and u own a $30k vehicle. But he said that it fits, so what aren't you comprehending here?

That's a really nice setup!!! I might have to consider one in the future. I plan on doing a nice stereo install next, then going with a fuel pump and injectors. Finally will be some 272's, ARP head studs and rod bolts, then it's on to hitting the 500whp mark. Also a Dynoflash too. I don't mind filling up with a few gallons of race unleaded each tank.

I am looking foward to seeing your car up there when I arrive.

Also Ryan, what do you say for taking us for a spin in your 500whp monster?

i dunno if you've seen his dsm work, but i had his standard manifold on my kit i had from him. I loved all the stuff i got from him, its just too bad that i didn't properly maintain the car like i should have, and had the t-belt go out. oh well, i learned the hard way, but i did learn, and im starting fresh with a talon, and im doing it right this time.... here's what my dsm kit looked like...

his fmic kit on the car...

and here was the turbo kit

Ahhh, I miss the old eclipse. Working long days to get that last mod on out in the praking lot. If it wasn't for Brandon here and his Eclipse I would be driving a Camaro SS right now . To think that we went to Mitsu to pick up his oil dip stick and 5 hours later I was a proud owner of a 2003 Evo

I remember that car Brandon. Too bad things went south with that car I heard it was pretty fast. That similar set up amde 400whp on like 94-95 octane with no tuning.

I had a few pics on it on my site for a while. I think I am going to put the engine shot in our DSM area. Hope you don't mind.

Here is a pic of out standard manifold for the EVO 8. See how it fits everything very very easy.

This is a pic of the equal length manifold. The equal length unit is $600 more. It takes about 4 times as long to make too.

The equal length manifold will also fit the stock fan as we will show you on Mr. Bubbler's car. We brought it in 2" to clear everything better.

That will make for a great fitment and clearance for everything. I have personally seen his old manifold setup on his car and can atest that moving it in like he has will make great clearance for all of the components of the kit and factory accesories.
