good gains, great looking, and the price is right. I paid 239, had mine in 3 days, and is worth it for the carbon fiber.

How much is the difference in power hike between the Typhoon and the AEM V2 CAI?

Is the Typhoon a better bet?

OK, Typhoon looks like the air to get, but I gotta gut check on two things. One from the posts (boostedWRX) - if it leans out with the stock turbo, maybe I should just go with the FilterCharger (base filter). Two - Maybe there's a reason Vishnu doesn't show any change from the stock intake yet, and he's done a lot of real work on tuning the engine and MAF. Can anyone tell me what Vishnu Tuning is doing with the intake?

On the dyno posted from K&N, does anyone know what type of gas was used?

Just installed tonight. BOV IS FREAKING LOUD now. Other than that it seems to suck more air. Not a huge difference but did notice that the power ban seems to start a little lower. I have 93 octane here and seems to work well. I will re post in a few days after i install my tb buschur racing exhaust and boost control and let you know how it all works together

Yup...I was thinking the same thing...looks like the ECU was pulling timing...from what I hear, the stock intake flows more than enough for the stock turbo...spend your $$$ on the exhaust, you'll get good gains there...

My bro just got his Injen intake (for his g35 coupe) from hopupracing.com today...he said it's a good site that is really cheap....they quoted him for $240 shipped for the g35coupe on hopupracing.com.... other places wanted $296 shipped for the Injen. You guys should check that website out for the K&N for our evos

Did your bro get one for his Evo? I did not even know this intake was out yet. Anyone else have this intake?
