Bolt on fp white

Can I just bolt this turbo to my car and a tune will I be ok. The things I have are catback, k&n filter boost gauge. Oh I have an evo 8. Then down the road I can do the rest bolt on like dp, cat, bov, ebcs , fuel and etc.

You need an Evo IX install kit for the turbo, FP sells them.
I would also put in a new fuel pump.

Man do you have the upgrades backwards . Its typical to do the turbo AFTER the exhaust/intake, etc. But it's ok! Make you sure fuel pump gets in the list.

you will need a minimum of new injectors - walboro 255 - tune - install kit

I am pretty unclear as to why you are doing a turbo upgrade without the rest of the mods to go along with it but its your ride....

The car isn't going to make that much power it should without the rest of the mods....

your exhaust is going to be a bottle neck
Your BOV may not hold the boost, if its stock

unless your getting this turbo for free - I would certainly go a different route.

Also, why a white - you could just get a evo 9 turbo with a bigger exhaust housing and a full bolt on car and still make 380-400 whp on 93 octane n meth.. on a stock turbo

Just buy a 9 turbo and then pick up some of the other mods for the diff in price! 9 turbo, manual boost controller, test pipe and downpipe with a tune and your car will probably be making just as much power as it would just by upgrading the turbo alone....

but thats just my two cents

You do not need to upgrade injectors or get a install kit. You should at least get a fuel pump though. My suggestions are to just get a IX turbo. With the money you save, finish your exhaust, LICP, cams and then have KevinD tune it. He's in Lewisville.

If he gets the White or a Stock Evo IX turbo - he needs to get an install kit. He has an '03 Evo VIII.....

And you going to pay for his new motor if he blows it from not having enough fuel? Remember also the stock 8 injectors are smaller than factory evo 9 injectors. Personally I'd do it right the first time than have to buy a new motor. And yes he does need an install kit because he has an 8. I would also recommend doing the generation 2 install kit.

Install kit is waste of money. The lines need to be moved half an inch if at all. Ask me and many others how we know.

What about the new oil feed that comes from the oil filter versus the head for higher boost applications? FP RED 24+ psi.
