bad fuel/ bad injector maybe=laggy start?
For the past 2 weeks or more my evo has been having a laggy start. I assumed it was the battery and I just got a new one and it still does the same thing. The alternator is still good and the vacume hose that go's from the bottom of my dejon tool mbc has a hole in it(So I know I have a boost leak) witch I will change wen I get get up 2morrow. I'm not sure if it's a boost leak or a bad fp or fuel injector that is causing these laggy starts. Please lmk!
It definately would not be from a boost leak. A leaky fuel injector sure does sound plausible. How many cranks does it take until it finally turns over? Typically when a fuel injector is leaking the combustion chamber will become flooded with gas. The engine has a tough time initially starting because of this. After cranking a few times that gas is burnt off and the car will start.
Its tough to diagnose something like this without actually seeing the car so the more details you can provide for us the better chance you will have at finding your problem and fixing it.

my car is on pte 1000cc injectors every now and then when i try to start it it takes a couple of cranks to turn the car on , lets say it happens 1 a week out of 25 times i try to turn my car on
