Change of heart, I think I'm going to run the 75w-110 over the 75w-140. The only two companies that I can find that make the 110 are Amsoil and Joe Gibbs Racing. I think it will serve me well. I'll let you know what I think in less then 2k miles!

I've been using SVG Severe Gear 75W-90 for my TC and read diff for the last 8 months or so. You could definitely tell the drive train felt smoother. On oem fluid, I was getting a very slight tc whine but after switching to the amsoil svg, it actually went away. thought i would chime in. gl

yep SVG 75W90 is already ready with LSD additives,,, id say to run 75w90 for your set up as i take it you aint over 450 hp on the stocker,,, SVG 90 is a pretty stout oil and holds up to good abuse

dambikeracer,,,, since you started this thread and i see how well it structured itself,, i think you should provide some data once this is all set and done, if you decided to go with Gibbs oil, lets get a sample of that when you drain to see where it sits at that point and i can assists with the analysis labs and cost and you can pick the lab you desire.

i would also like to get a sample of SVG i can manage that one though.

let me know i think it would be good comparo for this thread.

Good idea! I run all Amsoil fluids myself in everything I drive, especially my Evo, and I am curious too about the "proof in the pudding", so to speak.

Im'not going to run Joe Gibbs, I'm amsoil all the way. Better protection then the 75w-90 and not as heavy as the 75w-140. It's a lot closer to the 140, so it should be perfect for my set up.

I just got the 75-140 due to my higher hp and torque levels with the FP Black and my rather "spirited" driving It's going in this weekend, so I will report back with my results with it as compared to the 75-90 I've been using.

I use amsoil in all of my drivetrain. 75-90. 354whp. Street/weekend track days. Feels great, shifts smooth, no noises, never had a problem. I purchased from (apagan here on Evom) and i highly recommend this product and the seller!

Thanks,

-e

SVG Severe Gear 75W-90
SVT Severe Gear 75W-110
SVO Severe Gear 75W-140
SRN Severe Gear SAE 190 (this is what I was thinking of using)
SRT Severe Gear SAE 250 (which AWD Motorsports uses)

I put 26k miles on my car last year and Drag Race every chance I get! I launched 150+ times last year.
I think you had enough feed back sir

I was hoping to find more people running the 75w-110, 75w-140 and the SAE 190. It seems that most are running the 75w-90 and I was wanting something a little bit thicker.

But after doing more research of my own, like I always do... I made up my mind to run the 75w-110
