I just recently had my father install an Exedy Stage 2 Racing Clutch on my 04 Evo 8 and now when I take off...no matter how I take off the whole car shakes til the clutch is all the way up. Then I usually only notice it when upshifting into 3rd but can hear it into 4th aswell.. a quick shaking or rubbing noise..idk how to explain it. Downshifting is even worse...no matter what gear im downshifting into or how I let the clutch out the whole car shakes...it feels like the entire tranny is shaking.

 

maybe its just a serious clutch. are all the mounts connected

Please help me..it is the 4 puck clutch. Is this normal for my entire drive train to feel like its going to fall out when i downshift???

 

Seems like it needs adjusting, like its dragging on itself hard.

 

If it feels like the whole front of the car shakes you could have loose trans bolts. We had a customer the other day complaining of bad vibrations taking off and downshifting. Come to find out he was missing three trans bolts. Second time we have seen something like that
