I'm not joking i have seen this problem a few times. People turn up their boost and forget to zip tie their vacuum lines on . The EGR line loves to pop off when you do a boost leak test it will not be able to hold any pressure and when you listen, you will hear the leak coming out of the exhaust system. I think some people maybe confusing a boost leak test with a compression test. Good luck!
