Correct, just swap transfer cases.

ACD Computer is to the right of the glove box.

just done the swap today

eudm evo9 gsr

6 speed tranny -> 5 speed rs
acd -> non-acd
ayc -> rs rear diff

one question so far... my t-case has open front diff. is it OK for tarmac? or should I throw in something stronger?

All of these answers are somewhat confusing/contradicting. It still isn't clear to me if it's safe to drive with my acd pump removed IF I PLUG THE LINES running to the t case?

I think it was explained that you'd pretty much have a front wheel turbo honda if you did that.
Mine was front wheel with no rear when my acd pump failed. I went with a rs tcase and quafie lsd best move ever on my ix, even replaced the gauges and Blacked out the button so it looks as acd when never even a thought in my car

yes it is ok to drive like that... you will still have 4wd just no centre diff lock so the car will like to understeer more and you will get more wheelspin in the wet..

Thanks for the reply. But if my acd pump is shot right now it's essentially the same thing correct? meaning i already lost centre diff lock until i fix the pump?

exactly... you can remove the pump and drive the car without it.. no harm will be done to the transmission..
