So now i am saving my money again for upgrading my turbo. 400+ power should be enough for me.

Not to stray too far off topic but, I think the HTA Green is more of a compliment to the BBK Full. The FP Red is a different beast as it's not a stock compressor housing, but a custom design by FP.

If you want 400+, get the FP Red.

HTA Green and Red both have the same custom housings, just look at the pics man, its pretty obvious

BBK and HTA Green can do 400whp pretty easy, just need the right parts combo

I'll take a look, my mistake. I never want to spread misinformation.

so i need to know cause its kinda bugging me. With the current mods listed and running 94 octane, can i not hit 400 whp. I know #'s arent everything. It would be nice to know. I really didnt wanna be one those ppl but im very curious

Granted Cams, and ported IM and TB and probably meth would definatley help. I am wondering on this setup. I am planning on cams later, gotta buy the $1600 turbo lol. Also to get the cams installed I gotta drive like 10hrs cause theres no one really qualified i feel to do cams! *thumbs down*

Anywho, heres my mods so u dont have to goto the 1st page...

- TBE
- MBC
- o2 housing
- BBK Full
- Injectors
- 3.5" IC with UICP and LICP
- cone filter and fuel pump

I already answered this question. Did you read any of the replies to your original post?

What are you asking?

94 octane on your set-up should net you an increase for sure, but not what aggressive cams, a ported intake manifold and a throttlebody would net you.

I'm sure someone on here is running a similar set-up but on higher octane.

Good luck!

What are the best Ported Exhaust and Intake Manifolds and throttle bodies to go with?
I'm basically in the same boat as the OP, and needing to decide on these parts now.

Was thinking the PPI exhaust manifold with extreme porting, and maybe the MAP Rev2 Intake Manifold and Mil.Spec Throttle body.. Or would it be better to keep it all the same brand?

^^^

Good question, also Ive been told with ported intake manifold and TB, I heard driveability sucks for daily drive, that is why im not sure if i wanna go that route.

Who has those and can validate how there car drives when crusing, day to day, stop and go traffic.

I have a similar setup as you, and may be a good reference point.

- TBE: Tomei O2 housing, DP, Cobb HFC, and Cobb CBE
- GM 3-port and JDM MAP sensor
- 1000cc injectors/Fuel pump
- CBRD FMIC
- Perrin filter
- Mynes tubular manifold
- ARP headstuds
- BBK full

I made 363 whp @ 26 psi in CBRD's mustang dyno on 93 octane.

I'm still on the stock Evo 9 cams, and will definitely see more with upgraded cams.

Talk to Chad at CBRD and he'll guide you to where you want your car to be.

It's all in how the car is tuned.
