There is two sides to every spring....
just wanted to throw this out, to the DIY guys and gals on here for some helpful info and we have been getting some heads in that were already assembled from other shops with aftermarket valvetrain. A simple thing we have been noticing is how almost no one pays any attention to is how there is two sides of the spring and should be installed correctly to avoid pre-mature wear of the titanium retainers.
First up you will see the square edge on the end of the coil..this is the side you want facing the retainer

Jagged edge down facing the locator..

That's it..hope it helps someone!

I have supertechs and i looked at mine to see if they looked different before I installed them and I swear mine looked the same on both sides, they were just flat across and tapered a little bit to make a flat surface.
