need help, threw codes p335 &340

Well i was driving today to the store when my car just dies out of no where, i pull over and try to start my car again and it just turns over. I pulled the codes and i got a p 335 n 340. I read that it could be a dying battery but my battery is fairly new. I called a friend to give me a jump just in case but nothing, just turned over. Im having my car towed to my house soon any ideas what it could be? luckly it happened 1/4 mi from my house.

Very common Evo problem. (same thing happened to me) I replaced my Crank and Cam sensor, got a tune from Sean Ivey and it's perfect!!! Replacing the cam sensor takes 2 minutes, replacing the crank sensor........2 hours if your lucky! Hope this helps, Sean

Could be pretty serious. Pull the lower cover and check everything out. Looks like it might have jumped timing as well.

would it be ok to buy the pulies n tensioner etc from autozone n buy the timing belt oem? or is it best to buy everything oem? by the way it looks like it only skipped 1 tooth, and i was going about 20mph when it shut off so hopefully nothing else is messed up

Those codes are fairly common. Could be from moisture, etc. I have seen them thrown after people going through touch-less car washes. As far as your timing belt picture, If indeed it did skip, I wouldn't drive the car. Also a leak down test would be good to see if it maybe bent a couple of valves.
