Ive got an act hdss as well with a resurfaced flywheel and its working out great. Plus it only costed 1k total for resurface/clutch/install

I have the ACT HDSS it holds the power and Tq just fine on a pull but as soon as I get any heat in the clutch I get lockout issues 6500rpm+ I'm making 470 and 400 tq. The ACT was perfect when I was on stock turbo but now it gets thumbs down all the way

I have the HDSS, rated at 508 ft/lbs, 32k not one issue. Pedal is a bit stiffer than stock great for a dd. I would resurface the stock flywheel, weight savings isn't worth it, with a lighter flywheel your actually hurting yourself. When you disengage the clutch to shift a lighter flywheel is going to drop in rpm's faster, obviously not what you want in between gears. Just my .02, good luck with your choice!

I don't think I can resurface the stock flywheel. I had a twin put in and don't have the stock assembly. Would I be able to resurface the flywheel that came with my twin? Either way I will probably just get an act streetlite anyways, worth the extra money to be safe.

No. The flywheel that the twin disk uses is not compatable with an ACT.
I have a streetlite flywheel, but now wish I had gone with the prolite.

Why? doesn't the pro-lite affect driveability?
