Timing is 180 degrees off ??? Pic and Video

I put a timing light on my car last night because I had just bought one the other day. 've been having a lot of trouble with the car make really low hp. Well as I put the timing light on the car it shows the opposite side of the crank pulley instead of where my timing marks are supposed to be in order to line them up at with the T on the timing belt cover plate. I cut the car off and checked that the crank and cams were both at TDC according to the mark which they were yet when I start the car and put the timing light on it shows the other side of the pulley. Could I have the sensor plate or something else backwards. I checked the cam timing sensor the small tooth points up towards the front of the car at a 45* angle. I am guessing this is where my power loss is at but why does the car run I would think it wouldn't be drivable. Can anyone explain or tell me what to do to fix this?

Pic of the camshaft sensor tooth at TDC

Video of the timing light (zoomed wasn't very good) but the timing mark is on the other side of the pulley that shiny dot was a glare from it being scratched.

The cam sensor is correct if #1 is at TDC. Not sure what would cause the crank timing to be 180 deg off. This baffles me. Maybe someone can chime in and give you some much needed help. I wish i could explain this anomoly. Sounds like a crank sensor issue. Or you have the timing gun on the wrong ignition lead.

What kind of numbers are you making? When you say it's under-performing, how bad are we talking here? How long has it been since the engine was built? Who built it?

Its a wasted spark igniton I wonder if that has anything to do with it. It fires the spark plug at TDC of the exhaust stroke.

put a screw driver in your #1 cylinder, and spin the motor to TDC, then show us what your cam gears look like.

I want to say your timing light isn't hooked up right... you have the pickup on the number 1 cylinder plug wire right?

You can't put the crank angle knife on except on day and your CAS piece is right. Pull the lower timing cover off and set everything at TDC for cylinder 1 and verify. cylinder order 1,3,4,2 ^^^ you can also do that, which is easiest.

You can also only put the crank pulley on 1 way as well.
