more efficient upgrade

well i am on the fence between two upgrades for my setup my goals 500+whp on pump i am thinking of either upgrading the 35r to 3586 or adding a magnus/ams f1 intake i no the 35r has made 500 on pump a 1000s by its self but im always looking for ways to make my setup more efficient small mod list below

built 2.0 manley pistons turbo tuff rods arp studs everywhere you can stick them
built head no port work
ams street intercooler
full race manifold
garrett 35r 82/ar
stock tb and intake
buschur bf 272s
buschur double pumper
pte 1200cc injectors
exedy tripple

anything else just ask i plan on doing the hta upgrade at some point in time but as always i am on a budget and plan on getting tuned shortly so hta3586 upgrade or intake manifold and y thanks in advance o and sorry about my punctuation in a rush for work lol

Go with the intake mani for now. You have a decent turbo...see what you can get out of it before you replace it.

What kind of dyno? You dont think it could make 500whp with the setup you have now?

I would tune the car and see where you are now before dumping more into it. You're going to have a hell of a monster to control as is. If anything modding more later will give you something to look forward to.

Cheers!

What about cams? And contact CBRD about their 33R turbo. It makes really good usable power.

thanks for the info guys i no i could make 500whp now mustang dyno or dyno jet i have cams already bf272 i forgot to add them to the list i was thinking intake manifold and throttle body but at the same time ive seen plenty of people go fast on the stock intake and throttle body what is easier on the motor a bigger turbo that makes more power on less boost or a free flowing intake track ?

The Magnus V5 is worth 45-50hp on a FP Red and Aaron at ER did a back to back on his 3586 on stock motor and he made 65hp. You will gain between 50-60 I bet. I think my magnus is the reason why I'm making so much HP on my Red on only 30psi.

I think the Magnus is better than the AMS IM. I think most people would agree that has delt with both.

Good luck on your upgrading. I'm going to a Black soon and I plan to have 525 on pump 92 so you shouldn't have a problem!
