Angry ACT has struck again!!!

Despite the ringing endorsement by a certain member who shall remain nameless. I now have garbage in between my engine and tranny. Yes garbage. What good is a racing clutch when you can't shift at high RPM. USELESS!!!!!!! Should have just listened to the crowd and went exedy twin. Expensive but way cheaper than doing it twice. #LessonLearned Thank you ACT for ruining a other wise nice day at the track.

my car cant shift at high rpm either. It make a grinding sound. Change the trans oil couple times, problem still occur. Have no idea what clutch is in the car, but it can handle 450lbs torgue on the dyno thou. Is exedy twin is the only clutch recommend for evo?? Its kinda expensive .

i have an ACT HDSS and theres no problems..... if anything i thought people said act was better and that exedy wears out faster because of the way they're designed.

i have an ACT heavy duty street disk and streetlite flywheel. although not a big fan of the ACT, mine hasnt shown any lock out issues yet. have you guys tried bleeding and adjusting your clutch? the only thing i have to complain about is the decel chatter i got after installing the clutch.

i have an ACT HD w/6-puck and had my stock flywheel resurfaced. This clutch grabs real hard and is holding up strong(knock on wood). Ive been to 2 track visits(drag strip) and havent had any issues.
