First off smart ***, i didn't say it was junk. What did I say? I said the compression it is a bit low for my liking. And yes, your motor will be around a mid 7:1 if you like it or not!!! Having that low of compression is great for pump gas and large turbos becuase they don't need the extra bump in compression to make big power. Look at Aaron's graph. He is right, it is not hurting him. However us stock form turbo guys benifit from a higher compression because you can make higher power without the turbo working as hard. That is key to make great power on a stock frame turbo since you are limited so much by turbo shaft speed.

btw, Johnny's 2.4 Black has 9:1 pistons and he is thinking about selling it to do a LR2.4 w/ 10:1 pistons... There must be a reason!

Please don't put words in my mouth!!! You do that a lot and it is really starting to **** me off!!! I help you out with a lot of things and this is what you do, put **** in my mouth that I didn't say and put it on the forums. Maybe you have a problem with constructive critisism! If I didn't give a **** about your build I wouldn't help you...

Also I'm not here to debate Marti's building capabilities of a 2.4 but I believe full heartedly that our LR2.4s that ER is building is far supirior to anything Marti has built or will build. O and we don't shave the stock, weaker cranks like some body!!!!!!!! So before you put a price tag on someones building capabilites you need to know your info. Also, just because someone builds a lot of 2.4s don't mean they build the best

Mikey

Oh here we go again calm down . I hope your joking really. I already know the LR2.4 is the superior choice. Hints me watching yours with excitment to see what it does. I could care less personally about who builds the best of what parts. i knew a shaved rod was not correct hints me buying another one before anything even goes down. What im trying to do is buy the correct headgasket for the build. I ask questions you answer what you can never questioned if you were right or wrong so please get off the high horse. If you want to spend 100k on something you believe in thats your issue not mine. Never stated you over paid for your setup. You stated my compression was 7:1 im like ok if it was a problem i would have heard or read about it by now. I dont get mad over comments on the internet nor do i care its the net people say what they want to. Im here to learn stuff i dont know and ask questions so i dont waste money. If you want to get pissed over internet chat then so be it. Never insulted you or your knowledge you know more about the 2.4 then i do as this is my first tango with it but im learning daily .

Dude I am calm I just get worked up becuase I sit in an office with no windows behind two vault doors surrounded by 1 foot thick steel walls and three spin dial locks with a buzzer that goes off ever 5 secs for people wanting in and a Red flashing light that doesn't stop, plus it is hot in my office! See my frustration now...

You better care who makes the best parts, who builds the better motors, who does the best tuning, who has the best customer service, and who is just plan out cool You are building a expensive build and like everyone else, you want nothing but the best for your motor and for it to last longer than 6 months. I would rather pay 6-8k for an amazing build than 3k for a mild build and mild shop then lose my motor 6 months later and have to build it again. "Do things right, and do it once, and win with pride..." Sorry, my mom use to tell me that.

Dude if you think I'm wrong then say so... I don't mind being wrong, however I try to not help people unless I'm sure of what I am saying is right. Debates are important for people to learn. Not everyone views things the same, and diversity is a good thing

I never once stated I over paid for my setup nor did I say that you said I did! Like I mentioned before, you are putting words in my mouth! You should go find were I said "I paid to much for my build"... You won't because I never posted that, nor do I think that. You can always do things cheaper, I will give you that, but everything I am paying for I requested!!!

Also where did I say that you "insulted my knowledge"... I don't know where you come up with some of the BS that you do. It strikes me odd...
