not going to lie took me personally 4 days of calling before i finally got aaron on the phone but HE answered all my questions and dropped knowledge on me so worth the wait
Well theyve been great returning my emails, but the shop my car is at needs to talk to them over the phone... and im getting excited about finally getting my car going again.. haha so i can seem impatient at times.
[quote=BLKCarbonEVO;8280286]Yes the 1.2mm or the 1.5mm would work fine and can be ordered for 86.5 or 87mm. Honestly you should stick with the 1.2mm gasket and get your head decked 30-50k since you are only a 9:1 piston. Your dynamic compression will be in the mid 7:1s ... kinda low, jmo.
I'm a 10.3:1 static compression with 10:1 pistons, 1.2mm gasket and my head decked. My dynamic compression, the compression that maters, is still only 8.5:1 give or take a bit.
Aaron or R/TErnie would have to run the math for me again to give me the exact dynamic compression for my custom cam profile. Cams change your compression which is something a lot of people don't know. fyi
I have a built a 2.4 shortblock (not the long rod) as well and was stuck at this point not knowing what my recommended static compression should be. I have the wiseco 9.0-9.3 pistons and would like to know if my compression is too low and if I need to get the head decked couple thou. I did some cleaning of the combustion chamber to take out the sharp edges. I think they measure like 45cc now. Have to check my notes. Also using a oem stock ported evo 8 gasket.

cool you know hints why i did not fire back i fiqured you just needed to cool down a bit. NO sense in getting heated over nothing. Im not mad i never do. I get mad at buying the wrong parts and wasting money
