Wow looks like we got somebodies attention. I just a pm from Dustin from BC, he seemed very pissed. Well Dustin I sent you a pm. Post some dyno's, show us what your cams can do.

 

Remember 1 thing.. we have NO IDEA in this instance that these were BC cams in this car.. The cams had 0 markings on them at all and I never said they were BC for sure..

What i will say though is every time i have tuned a car with BC cams THEY SUCKED..

Just to reiterate the BC comments. Have lots of dyno sheets of power, not small power, big power losses on an Acura with BC cams. Same car had been on the same dyno with stock cams.

Dustin is the senior sales rep as far as I know. I asked "them", not sure who it was on the phone, the centerline on the IX cam as i was trying to figure out why it wasn't making power. Then I wanted to know if the exhaust cam was using the same centerline as the VIII (106*....WAY too tight). When I didnt get an answer that had "I cant tell you because it was proprietary" but instead got the "I dunno" it summed my estimation of the design staff.

The whole spring deal added to my angst, that has since been partially resolved. Since they cant offer me anything I would want to purchase from them (though they did make that offer) and they arent interested in refunding me money its a draw I guess.

 

Dustin and whoever else from BC can suck a fart outta my ***. Their cams suck ***.
