How 1 WRONG Part of a COMBINATION can RUIN the Setup!!!

Here is a perfect example of how 1 or in this case 2 I guess it could be 2 parts can 100% ruin the entire combination on a car..

We were given a complete car built by another shop and we meticulously went thru the setup and threw away all the GARBAGE parts we could see by eye..We rewired everything that was rigged and a mess.. The longblock was built by another shop and it was the only part of the combination I AGREED on leaving in the car.. As much as i hate to do that I did it to try and save the customer a few $$..

We installed..

AWD Motorsports Turbo Kit
6262 Billet Turbo
Buschur Race FMIC
Buschur 65mm IM & TB
Buschur Double Pumper
Buschur Cop Ignition
Precision 1200cc Injectors
AEM ECU Tuned by: Crispeed

The car was struggling to make ANY POWER.. on 34psi the car couldnt make over 540HP.. We were scratching our head and decided to compression test and leakdown and motor actually seemed healthy.. We decided to pull the Valve cover and inspect.. I found UNKNOWN cams with no marking.. Not stock, not HKS, not kelford, No GSC..

I made the decision to swap cams and springs and retainers ONLY and see what we would get.. We added GSC Beehive 5041 kit Springs, Retainers & Seats.. We also added a set of AWD Spec 272 Cams.. Something we only had 1 set of previous that we tested and worked VERY WELL..

Here is the difference with NOTHING else changed the very 1st pull on the dyno.
.

Now of course Crispeed chopped as he needed to tune the car over but as you can see PROBLEM SOLVED.. this was not even the PEAK Power.. The car would have clearly made 100+whp on the same boost just changing cams and springs..

Tomorrow we will tune the car and ill know exactly what it makes but my guess is 100+HP as the same boost level.. This once again goes to show no matter how many great parts you have in your car if the combination of parts is not right you will not make what it SHOULD make or what WE make or your friends car makes.. Even though you think everything is the same.. Any questions just ask..

UPDATE**

Here is the powerband change at the same boost on a full tuned pull.. Near 100WHP lost due to a JUNK cam setup..

We still have some more testing to do so they are about 2 months away from being available.. What i had these designed for is POWER.. they are not your fast spoolers, ultimate street cam but they are going to be for those that need the PEAK power and strong powerband on top to 9k RPM.. More details in the coming months as we test them further..

Okay. Then I would just expect there to be Eagle H-Beams on default?
