I did see it. thats why i asked. so you gonna get it done on that dyno then? It would be only fair to let them tune it after they wrenched the hell out of it. definitely get it done on that dyno.... dyno first then road tune to finalize the tunes safe.

i thought i needed some kind of base tune just so the damn thing could idle correctly etc?? Yea i want to use the dyno since i have the options just for the experience so i can say i used a dyno lol. Yea kind of have no choice but to let them tune it at first then get the tune checked out after the fact make sure its all straight.

all the cars there were tuned perfectly you saw that raillart in my vid eating *** right lol. so i have no doubt in the tune i just like to double check everything. I have seen shotty work from other shops and subpar tunes so i rather check the work over if everything is cool then ok. even if it was built by ER i would still have it double checked.

That is why I just upgraded my twin to a triple so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. I can now sleep in piece! I have not driven a triple before and I hear they are not a hill friendly as the twin

Eh luckily we dont have many hills here in Jersey, I mean there around but not terrible. Ill just 2-step it out and huck the wheel and drift the turns

Na mang the triple SR (non carbon) is only 2000-ish! I dont think Ill be near 700, I feel like upper 500s-600 will be more like it...unless I decide to pull the trigger on running a second map with Q16

Oh and this kiggly oil regulator, says it's for "4G63"...what about the 4G64?? I assume it will obviously be fine since its going in the head anyway.

well 4g64 still uses evo head, so universal one will be good to go.

wow this thread is insanely active. to stay back on topic,

blk,
what is your opinion of the magnus intake? i hear good things but are the gains worth it? what is the reasoning for you going turbosmart bov over aps twin vent?

the triple ceramic metallic is the streetable one, and not the carbon, the carbon is going to be better for the race track for better heat dissipation but the carbon wears faster. last price i got was 2k shipped for triple metallic and 870 to upgrade twin to triple.

my goals for power are more "this hits hard!" than a specific number. the 2.4 black is optimized, what are your opinions about the best oil to run for street in a 2.4 build?
