If a part is being sold to the public by Kiggly, you can bet your *** it wont let you down. That goes for anything he sells.

Great information in here. I'll be getting this on my engine build without a doubt.

I installed one during my last refresh. Drifto and I both use one.

As for how much oil pressure at the lifter is required to maintain accurate valvetrain action, that is another question, the answer which would likely vary from setup to setup.

Just to clarify, the oil pressure is only reduced to the lifters. The cams and turbo feed stay at full pressure.

Thanks for the input Kevin,
Does this item by design also "restrict" oil to the head? I.e. oil isn't "wasted" by being in the head where it isn't needed, except for the cams and HLA's?

Or will my engine builder still need to look at running a restrictor?

Cheers, Mike

Are the spring cooling jets on the cam feeds or the lash adjuster feeds?

Also, any real world feedback on how much this helps with valvetrain noise. I get a lot of lifter tick with these FP 280+ cams.

I've not noticed any change in valvetrain noise, but I have observed less oil misting under the cam cover and less accumulation in the catch cans.

They really aren't necessary. If you know how to remove the cam cover, you'll see the factory oil feed cover it replaces. It takes about 60 seconds (3 screws) to replace it with Kiggly's part.
