Megan racing VS OEM ported and coat manifold

I need your opinion...

Megan racing manifold (for stock turbo)

or

OEM ported and coat manifold (for stock engine)
(by Buschur racing)

Thanks

I have no doubt that the ported and coated stocker will be much more durable and reliable over time than the Megan...and on the stock motor/turbo I am willing to bet the performance gains will be similar.

Good luck.

Stock ported works great. Megan will without any doubt crack.

i think you have them confused with the megan mani. thats booty. but i have had their O2 housing for over 4years in LV, NV, three different turbos and i havent had any issues with it. im sure it cost less and weighs less than a stock ported. but the stock allows you to put on the heat shield if you want. and support brakets for the turbo.

Are you serious?? That is hilarious that you bought a manifold, and removed the runners for new ones Should have just bought a flange a good collector and done it from scratch to begin with!

BTW, it's been proven time and time again, not much beats the stock, ported, coated manifold.

Alot of people don't think their manifold is cracked.
Whenever we ceramic coat them, because of the prep required, we've seen alot of manifolds that "look" fine on the outside. Smaller cracks are covered by carbon buildup and sometimes are hard to spot.

On the other hand, we've NEVER seen any cracks on a stock manifold or a good quality tubular manifold (shearer, punishment, full-race, etc).

I picked up 6whp/12 fpt on a dynojet with these so it didn't help that much

i have a totally different turbo now so i have a divorced setup with a dump and equal length runners

I thought we are talking about the exhaust manifold

Megan o2 housing is a whole different story. I run one without issues.... well sort of, I think mine has a crack but that probably because I ported it too much.
