Well, I got in touch with them - they do use a knock sensor to monitor knock, but no ignition timing logging... well, I figure we just lean it out until we see knock.

I was thinking of leaning out till about 11.0-11.5 - as I currently do not have an air filter, and should I add one I want there to be a safe margin in case I don't get a chance to get to the dyno.

How much can we expect a typical air filter to lean out the AFR?
