SS Clutch Line

Um, WOW. I finally have a clutch that feels right. Night and Day.

For those that still haven't done the Stainless Steel clutch line kit and restrictor removal...I would recommend it. My clutch now feels like a normal clutch, very responsive with good feedback (not super squishy anymore). Obviously this voids the warrenty on the Clutch I am sure...so I had my dealer install it .

Also had the rotors replaced (slightly warped), Redline MT90 in the Transmission, Redline 75w90 in the Transfer and Diff. Super silky smooth shifting now. I can't wait till Tom gets that Kartboy short shifter finished

BTW, got the SS Clutch line kit from Lancershop.com. Great material and looks good under the hood too (from the little part that you can see it). Very high quality.

thats pretty cheap!

I got mine for just under 60 bucks from Lancershop with shipping. Dealer installed for 40 bucks. I couldn't be happier with the performance and feel now. Before I sometimes had to "work" at getting the car into 1st gear...seemed like I was revving too much to get a smooth engagement, or it would sometimes bog down during engagement (like if the revs were below 2k).

Now all that is fixed

i bought my line from them also, bought the "rubber coated one, for a stock look"
what a rip off, plastic piping like you can find at the stereo shop for $.05, they charge like $10-15 more. now they won't refund it.
i hate those kind of people.
just my .02
good line though, i think it's a little too long, loops around a lot though

I put plastic coil style wire coving on mine (clear). Bought it at Pep Boys for $1.39. It keep the wire from rubbing anything, and looks good.

Would still love a comparison between the Alamo (Bonez) line and the lancershop one!
