In that case, with the engine off, put someone else into the driver's seat and adjust the cable such that at full throttle, the metal tang that rotates with the shaft just contacts the throttle stop. That will do it.
excuse the thread revival but I don’t have evoscan and also dealing with a similar issue. Can you elaborate further on this process?
Without Evoscan, with key on and engine off, you would need to measure the voltage at the TPS signal wire and adjust the TPS until you see ~0.7V closed and 5.0V at WOT.
