Just read the thread from start to finish and it was a good read till the spun rod bearing conversation. Its looking good though and.hopefully you can reap some of the rewards of all that money and hard work you put into it.

I plan to start building a new motor here soon similar to this one so it was nice to see your progress and hickup.

Thanks for the thread and luck to you in the future.

block let go @ 390hp? how much torque? maybe too much load due to being low rpm & 5th gear

Hate to bump this thread from the dead, but if anyone is interested in any part off this car, please shoot me a PM. Car is going back to stock and being sold.

Sucks to see you getting rid of it, any plans for a replacement?

Those are great little cars. Not a lot of power, but fun to drive. Make sure to post pics when you get one.

Acree....not you too. Damn man. WTH happened? You know my story.....I've thought about getting out plenty of times.

Still kinda do. LOL. I thought about a BRZ but I'm waiting until they confirm they are or not making a STi version.

Good luck.

Does this mean the JDM climate control project is squashed?

hold out on it, imo. they should have a turbo'd version in 2014. Or buy one now and throw a turbo on it. I've been in one though, they are nice little cars. LITTLE cars, lol.

and get the BR-Z, who wants a Scion badge?
