Stock BOV

Hi everyone I bought an Evo IX last yr and the guy I bought it from installed a HKS SSQ BOV, and Im experiencing a lot of surging on the highway. I have searched and couldnt find any info on installing stock BOV only could find after market installs. But I recently bought the stock BOV off of a IX brand new and was wondering if any one knew how to convert back to stock? Or even pics would be nice. no more VTA here ..... Thx in advance everyone.

Pictures of the setup would be nice. If the pipe is flanged for the HKS it could be trouble. If the HKS has the 1.5" pipe adapter on it you may luck out and the install should be a bolt on affair...maybe.

As far as highway cruise flutter, recirculating the HKS will not help that. Totally different issue.

It blows when you buy a car with improper mods huh?

I agree with those guys that we need to know and/or see your set-up to determine how the install is going to go, but I can tell you that switching out my APS BOV for a stock IX BOV last week is what fixed the surging issue I was having at partial throttle on the highway, so you likely made a good choice.
