Need help maxing out my stock IX turbo - advice on what to do next!?

S2's with the beehive springs to be on the safe side. With a stock turbo they crap out way before 8 grand so dont even have to worry about going really high

I could have added to your list Aaron with a 02 dump and more boost lol, If I were you I would go with the S2s kiggly valve springs and look for a new turbo, your going to have to run your turbo at a high boost level to get those goals and never no how long your turbo will last.

you really only saw a 4hp diff with a ported IM with the stock turbo? only adds at higher hp levels? also ive been looking at the Driven innovations mani but with my cams and that i think ill run out of boost quick.
side note can these high 400's be seen with meth and pump? or only race gas?

maybe i'll swap out my cams and some other small stuff and see what I can pull out of the stock turbo AGAIN before I switch to a bbk full or a hta greenie

On the dyno we went from 432-434 to a consistent 438whp (2.0L, E85, IX turbo). The runners were fully ported, the TB was opened up and the runners were cut down in the plenum (plenum volume increased). The intake is still on the car now where it makes 476/495 on a 10:1 2.4L.
