PT6235 Street/Strip Pump 93 Yes or No
PT6235 Street/Strip Pump 93 Yes or No
Hi, if you were building a nice ix street/strip car for 93 pump gas / stock cams would the pt6235 be a good choice? I have told that the billet pt6235 spools faster than 35r but makes more power. I have searched everywhere on this turbo and found very little. I already have the t3 style manifold so I planned on going 35r but I was told the pt6235 is better. I cant believe that it could be better than the 35r and nobody uses it.
No sense in running a turbo of that size with the stock cams. Other than that, the 6235 is a good turbo and worth the money. Its more common to use a 6262 or 3582HTA, thats why you dont see them often.
I might add cams down the road, thanks.
I just want to make sure I'm not buying a turbo that is laggier than a 35r. I'm fine with the 35r spool time having had one before but wouldnt want any more lag.
