installed a boost gauge yesterday took it out stock setup spikes like 19-21 and tapers down to around 16-17?

i read i can do 19-20 and hold it... but to do that wouldnt it spike like 25? and is this ok?

it doesn't have to spike that high to hold 19-20...also, 25 would probably be okay. when people get their cars tuned, they usually turn the boost up to 22-25. you need a boost controller.

I recommend getting the car tuned for any boost level over stock. Stock boost is usually around 17-19psi but you would be good with your mods to tune it around 24psi on pump gas.

Yeah...get the car tuned...your tuner will decide what a safe psi is for your car...

Get tuned. On pump I was running 25 PSI (on E85 I was running 28.5 PSI). Bigger injectors and fuel pump

i'm running pretty much stock motor besides cams and some bolt-ons and I am tuned for 24psi. I wouldn't run more than 25psi on 93 pump.
